Our pilgrims’ safety and wellbeing is always our absolute priority, and we are continually assessing our operations and constantly monitoring the advice and taking direction from the relevant Government and Health authorities in Australia (smartraveller.gov.au) and internationally.
Given the unprecedented impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the constantly evolving nature of this pandemic, Harvest Journeys is postponing all pilgrimages until 30 June 2020.
At this stage, all pilgrimages departing from 01 July 2020 and beyond are planned to proceed as scheduled.
However, we are monitoring the situation closely in accordance with local and international travel advisements and policies and will determine if/when any modifications and updates to travel plans are needed. We will advise pilgrims directly at the earliest possible time if there are any changes to their programme.
We are all in unchartered waters and unprecedented times for travellers and Harvest will continue to do everything we can to support our customers.
Oberammergau Passion Play
On March 19, 2020, the local authorities in Germany made the decision to postpone the 42nd Oberammergau Passion Play as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The event will now take place in 2022. We will be contacting all of our Oberammergau pilgrims as soon as possible in order to provide them options accordingly.
Due to the overwhelming amount of calls/emails we are experiencing, we apologise for any delay in responding to you. We appreciate your patience and support at this time.
