A crowd gathered in St Dominic’s Catholic Church, Flemington on Sunday evening 23 June 2024 to hear firsthand testimonies of life-changing miracles that had happened on pilgrimage. Juliana Elarde was wheelchair bound for 8 years, in severe and chronic pain, and at risk of amputation, when she decided to go on a pilgrimage to Lourdes. Not only did she experience a miracle of healing in her body and spirit, leaving her wheelchair behind and discovering a relationship with Jesus and Mary, but she also met and married her husband who was the pilgrimage coordinator.

Much of Fr Andrew Grace’s life seems miraculous, graduating from his group of youths known as ‘The Death Squad’ due to loss of life through extreme behaviour, to a vocation to the priesthood, guided by Our Lady’s intervention in Medjugorje. Fr Grace spoke of the many miracles he has witnessed through the countless confessions that happen in multiple languages daily in the holy village of Medjugorje, where Our Lady has reportedly been appearing daily since 1981. Fr Grace is Parish Priest of Kooringal in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga and leads a pilgrimage to Medjugorje each year.
